CALENDAR

JANUARY 2008

January 3 - Guest speaker: Dr. Mark Weiss, Professor, Kansas State University will talk about the research he has been doing on adult stem cell research.  This is different from embryonic stem cell research.  The Northeast Kansas Parkinson Association has donated to his research.  However, there has been a major development in reproducing embryonic stem cells that is not controversial.  Even Senator Brownback does not object.  Dr. Weiss should be able to speak about the impact of this new development.
